Rebecca has particular experience in working with people in their 50s, 60s & beyond. Personal training & Pilates that will keep you fit for longer.
As we age our joints both deteriorate and stiffen affecting even the simplest of activities in everyday life. Rebecca will introduce you to a series of mobility exercises that you can perform regularly to help ease this discomfort and possibly even set you up for sporting superstardom.
Resistance training and the relationship between mobility & strength – controlling a joint within a range of motion. She will show you how to go about it with minimal equipment that can be carried out in the comfort of your home. Rebecca will also provide you with the tools needed to continue your practice long into the future.
Rebecca works primarily one to one but is also happy to work with small groups.
Rebecca had a keen interest in sport from a young age and held a top 25 GB ranking in 1500 metres and was a member of the women’s university boat race squad at Oxford University. After graduating, Rebecca became a keen cyclist and triathlete, completing in numerous events including an amateur stage of the Tour de France. As with most athletes as time progressed Rebecca has had to work harder to maintain good mobility and avoid injuries, which is how her love of Pilates started.
